An electrifying solo show that follows Grae Lilly Wolfe, a complex antihero, as she untangles the oppressive external forces and inner demons that haunt her.
We meet Grae in the immediate aftermath of an undisclosed incident that leaves her isolated and handcuffed in a police interrogation room.
Grae shares her formative experiences growing up in East Oakland, highlighting themes of trauma, dissociation, misogyny, and cycles of harm.
The story toggles between visceral childhood memories, vulnerable personal revelations, vivid rumination, and shocking developments.
We bear witness to the inception of what can break the beautiful, and watch as Grae struggles to overcome and embrace her nature . At its core, Grae's story is one of personal truth and unflinching empowerment - facing one's full self to be freed.
